Those program are a great asset to many but the when you reduce a DVD-9 to a DVD-5 quality will always suffer.

Scenarist’s manual is really bad. The only real way to discover spec level authoring is to work with somebody who knows the program well. Sit in with someone at work would be the best way.

Thats true 🙂 ..but if I wanted to archive my video for long periods of time your best bet would be to use tape.

Then again DVD-R is not designed for archiving data not video

Never heard of them. Any good quality media is great for archiving. I use TDK – never had a problem

DVDSP doesn’t support audio in transition at this point.
