Definitely works. I do it all the time. Only catch would be if you “check” the “unique file name” box with the first render, it will uncheck after the render is finished, so you will need to be sure to re-check for every fix.

If I understand correctly, you want to add you “look” nodes after the show has been balanced, correct?

Would it then be unreasonable to work with versions on the “Track” corrector, for these “look” nodes? After you get the main thrust of the look figured out, you could then fine tune w/ dynamics after you get the OK to proceed… I realize it’s not perfect, but then you don’t have to worry about duplicate projects and extra work…

  • AE maybe, there used to be something called GridIron, I think, that created something like what Xgrid is. It was for render only though… and it’s been some time since I’ve looked into it.

BMD actually has a document on the Support page that answers this question.

Why can’t you put the LUT on Node 1, then do your primary on that node? There is nothing stopping that from happening as far as I can tell.

Resolve lives and dies by “REEL” & “TC”.

Any conflicts between the two and you will have issue. Also, do yourself a favor and read the supported Codec Doc that BMD has created.

This may sound counter intuitive, but try the audio file off of a non RAID drive.

Are you guys playing the audio off the same drive as picture? I put in a 2nd internal and use that for an audio only drive.

I still get playback issues if for whatever reason I’m overtaxing or there are a bunch of nodes, but overall much better performance.
