<p>I&#8217;d like to cut thru multiple layers , delete that chunk of time, and have the deletion ripple close.</p>
<p>EG: there&#8217;s a text layer, a matte color layer, and the video.  I&#8217;d like to slice all 3, and delete them &#8216;shut&#8217;, in the most efficient manner possible.  TNX!</p>

This went well for the most part.  However, AE is refusing to find one font, although PS finds it fine.</p>
<p>AE will load the font on a new text layer, but this is a typographic animation, and I have no idea of where the original is.  How can I locate it?</p>

So the audio <b>is </b>there, and the freeware can play it, but the commercial s/w does not.</p>
<p>Acting on a suggestion, I used MediaInfo to examine the file, but&#8230; not sure what to do with the info.   Here&#8217;s the TEXT output from MediaInfo, thanks for any&hellip;</p>

<p>It&#8217;s like the OS Display considers the low-resolution but physically larger screen to be the metric, and the laptop&#8217;s hirez but smallish to be dependent.  The problem is that the cursors are ENORMOUS on the low-rez screen, which is where I&#8217;d prefer to work.</p>

<p>In AE my tool icons are GIANT.  I can&#8217;t take a screen grab of them because they are cursors and Screen Print doesn&#8217;t grab cursors, but to give you an idea, the Text Cursor is ~4x the height of the Comp window option line, or ~4X the height of a layer line in the Timeline.  Other cursors are similarly en-gianted.</p>

<p>I note that the white circles have expressions on *dozens* of parameters to hook them up with their &#8216;parents&#8217;.  It seems unlikely that you went to all that bother, so did you use some kind of cloning tool?</p>
<p>I noticed this because when I made a working copy of the comp, the expressions were hardcoded to a comp name,&hellip;</p>

<p>I wound up parenting layers with empty fills because me no mograph so gud.  If I were to redo this I&#8217;d just use ADD for the white strokes.</p>

While I want the color fills to overlap and affect each other, I want the white borders to ignore the layer stacking order and always appear 100%, no matter where they are in the stacking order and what&#8217;s overlapping them.  </p>
