  • Cutting thru multiple layers, deleting w/ripple, How?

I’m cleaning up an ANCIENT video, and want to tighten it up (styles have changed in 20 years).

I’d like to cut thru multiple layers , delete that chunk of time, and have the deletion ripple close.

EG: there’s a text layer, a matte color layer, and the video. I’d like to slice all 3, and delete them ‘shut’, in the most efficient manner possible. TNX!

    Hey Eric,

CTRL + SHIFT + “K” (on PC) will cut through everything.

Except for locked tracks in the sequence.

If you use: CTRL + ALT + “K”, that should open your Keyboard Shortcuts panel.
Which may be helpful if you’re stuck.

Maybe make a nest of the three tracks and cut from that single track?
