Where do you find the people you hire?
1-Word of mouth (%80)
2-Industry meetings and networking parties. (%15)

-One thing we look for the most is enthusiasm. Regardless of experience and education, if we find somebody who has a passion for the job and proves they are dedicated to being the best at what they do, we will spend the time to train and mold them to our needs. We also dont mind paying top dollar for talent.
What is your best/worst experience with employees.
-Best experience with employees is to find self motivated people. They need minimum supervision and are inherently creative.
-Worst experience is after having spent months training an employee to find they dont have what it takes to be in this business. Also not being punctual, open minded or organized are real turn offs.
How did you get hired on your last job?

My personal strengths are the fact I advanced from the ranks.

We own 3 chrosziel matteboxes and have this vignetting problem on all of them when filming wide on stock lens. But when filming with 35mm lenses with m2 or letus we get no such problems as the lens diameter and field of vision corrects this. I have to say the build on the chrosziel matteboxes are superior to anything you can buy in that price range. I think they just need to be seated a little better (closer) to the lens.

Another brand of 35mm adapter to look up is the Letus Extreme
The 35mm adapters are a BIIIIGGGG can of worms. Many selections with pros and cons. Also You will find they are very slow to film and require a larger lighting package and crew.

I own a BT-LH80W monitor from Panasonic and I find it useful for it’s price. As todd mentioned it is not Full rez like Astro but has a few useful functions.
-Pixel for pixel display allows you to fill up the screen in true resolution of your format so you can see a part of your image in HD
-Red mode lights up parts of your image in focus in red making on the spot when pulling tape is not convenient.
-Built in waveform is a quick reference to your levels when your light meter is a little far away.
-Very rugged build, in fact few shoots ago my 1st AC who is very careful got distracted and pulled the camera off when it was connected to the monitor. It flew 15 feet through the air and landed face down in asphalt. I picked it up, blew the dust off and kept shooting. No damage except for a few cosmetic scratches.
-On board anton bauer mount allows for easy field power.
What I dont like about the monitor is low light output making it difficult to view in direct sunlight.I would love to hear about other people and brands.

Absolutely, Either green or blue, the kino’s make a great impact. They are now an industry standard in major motion pictures.
Ps: Added trick for green screen compositing/tracking is to use florescent (orange) tape to place markers and light them with a black light. It will not bleed in to your chroma key but will stick out like a sore thumb for tracking. Then you can clean them out by hand or by mocha.

23.98 is a problem as intensity pro will not support it as well.
I am not sure about Motu as it is very new and I have seen to few reviewa. But if you call them with questions they take your name and somebody calls back within 15min to answer all your questions.
For me it was a choice; Either dump 720PN and pay for storage (10K)or keep 720PN and upgrade from AVID Mojo to AVID adrenaline(40K). I dumped my avid.
“If it dont clunk, then it’s junk”. If I m not mistaken (and correct me please) the OIS mirror is in loose mode when it is powered down. If it does not move, you’re in trouble.
