I would recommend the ARRI but without RAW option, it would be over kill. We use the Alexa in the studio and most cases of talking heads we don’t even opt for the 444 ProRez option but use 422HQ which produces fantastic results.
Color science is fantastic so results are very easy to deal with, just be careful with the color temperature. Otherwise its as easy as plug and play.

My rant is not about the printing and updates that may be crippling some businesses but with FedEx all together. Now this may be a regional thing but FedEx where I live does not work.
I have had overnight shipments sent to me with 2 people waiting for the truck all day (literally looking out the window all day long) and they would never show up. Then I would get a message that said “No one available to receive package, re-attempt delivery next day”.
This has happened about 7-8 times where they simply will not deliver packages.
I switched to UPS and have never had a package delivered late in fact the driver would see there are no cars parked so would drive back 2-3 times until he would be sure there is somebody there to pick up the package as opposed to just leave it on the steps or attempt delivery the next day.
No more FedEx for us.

30i is what the eye sees, 24p is what the mind sees.
If that answer sounds mysterious try this for size 🙂

So basically this guy has become what he describes as a huge success in the video business by inventing a franchise for people who want to work at home with “no experience necessary
Anybody want to get into medical billing or stuffing envelopes? If so I have a great opportunity waiting for you.

Well, with a few key phrases on google I was able to find their website.
He says in poorly recorded video: “Our company that started in our upstairs spare bedroom has turned into one of the most exiting and profitable companies in the world today”.
How soon realistically can you start making a living with XXX?
The answer to this one is immediately. We have people who start to make money right from the beginning. We prepare you to do that. We empower you to get started immediately. This business has a very quick ramp up time.
What is the ramp up time?
The ramp up time is usually anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks from the date when you pay your final payment to us. We encourage owners to get going as soon as possible. If you need financing, that may affect your ramp up time as well.
Will this business be obsolete in the future?
No. Every time Sony, Panasonic, Apple or Microsoft comes out with a new format, we make more money because we help people change those formats. And we love to help them change these things.
How do you market this business and find customers?
That’s a great question. That’s why people come on board with XXX because like other franchises like McDonald’s or Subway, that has the restaurant business figured out, we have the video business figured out. We know exactly how to get customers. How much to charge for our products and how to keep those customers coming back for more.
Getting customers, actually, is pretty darn easy. And that’s what we’re going to teach you. We really teach you how to make your phone ring.
What is the royalty for XXX?
We have a 7 percent royalty and a 2 % advertising/marketing fee that you pay monthly. Those are considered middle of the road rates in the franchise industry.

It sounds like you didnt focus the camera on the ground glass.
-Take the lens off
-Turn off the Letus (red button)
-Point the camera to a medium bright light source
-Using the monitor (or preferably larger external monitor) use the focus ring on the camera to focus in the ground glass.
-Re-attach lens
-Turn the adapter on
-Focus using the Nikon lens normally.Emre Tufekci

You problem is your TV, it is an 120Hz monitor that takes away the 24P feel and makes everything look like soap opera.
Great for sports, sucks for movies.

We use the 3700 when we need a Dual Link HD-SDI to pull 4:4:4 for compositing/FX work (When we dont want to shell out to rent a Panavision Genesis or F35).
For documentary, EFP, ENG work I would only recommend the 2700. Anything more would be waste of money (IMHO). No need for the 3000 or the 3700.
