It worked with Lite for me also, but Audio did not come across. Any ideas why?

So, I am getting ready to build a system and SAN revolving around CATdv, but am waiting on approval from up above. Is there a way to do this without CATdv or is there a demo version?

Not sure what you mean by fixed it, but I’m having the same issue. However, I am using the new 12 core Mac Pro with 26 Gigs of RAM. It flies through the ram preview, but as soon as it is ready to play I get the error “Unable to connect to background render” in the info panel. Any thoughts?

OK guys this has been super helpful… BUT! I’m still lost! I can reproduce what you guys are doing, but once I try to animate it goes haywire. I can’t seem to get the cloth to interact with itself without cutting in an out and bunching up. If there is a tutorial out there somewhere it would be a huge help. I don’t like mooching off of other people’s work.

Thanks guys, unfortunately I forgot to mention the importing thing and yes I tried that too with no avail. However, I am going to now try importing each element individually and see what causes trouble, maybe I can catch the problem there. Thanks a bunch, and please keep the ideas coming! Oh I also wanted to mention that this is happening with a bunch of projects all from the same machine. We have since wiped that machine so hopefully that will be the end of the trouble. Wish me luck!

Can you elaborate as to where the forces box is located in the interface? I’m having trouble finding it.

It only gives you the option to generate them, but does not specify where it places them.
