Hi Stephen,
We currently do not offer classroom training. Occasionally, we’ll make appearances at different tradeshows or events. If we have an event coming up, we’ll be sure to post it on our web site.

Hi Kevin,
You may be running into this issue from rendering with Multiprocessing in After Effects. Sometimes, texture maps can get lost through the multiprocess rendering. Thus, it ends up flashing because one core has the texture map while the texture map is lost on another core. To fix this, use either a Layer Map, or turn off Multiprocessor.

Hi Robert,
Be sure the objects you’ve created are at the center of the 3D Scene/world. To do this, select your objects, and select the “Reset Tweaks” command, or use the “Move to Center” command. This will move your objects to the center, and you will be able to use either the After Effects camera, or the Invigorator camera to orbit around your objects.

For anyone having a similar issue, the project was resaved in version 4.5.1, and it opened without any issues in version 5.

I understand your frustration. It would definitely be frustrating to not be able to use something you’ve purchased.
In terms of the progress, we are getting close. We are finishing a few items up. Afterwards, we will test the product extensively to make sure that everything is working well. Then, we’ll package the product for release!

April 5, 2011 at 12:08 am in reply to: I am so looking forward to the new Invig Pro for Mac!Hi Johnny,
3D Invigorator PRO is currently compatible with After Effects CS5 on Windows. We are re-writing the software so that it is 64-bit compatible on the Mac. We are getting closer and closer to finishing up the 64-bit conversion.
Thanks for your patience.

Hi Johnny,
Sorry if you feel as you are being mislead. The reality is, the conversion process has taken us longer than we’ve all expected. We kept setting timelines earlier as to when we were going to release the software, but several unexpected hurdles have kept us from reaching those timelines. So, our apologies if it seems as though the software is never getting released. It’s very frustrating for us too whenever we have to push the release date back further.
With that said, we are pretty excited because there is light at the end of the tunnel. We are getting closer and closer to the end of the conversion. I can’t set a concrete release date yet, but the newest builds of the software is definitely promising.
We’ll provide you with an update whenever we can. Thanks for your continued patience.

Hi Robert,
Try going to the NVIDIA web site and download the latest graphics card driver for your graphics card. This should help with the display issues that you are currently running into.
Also, go into the After Effects Preferences window, and under Previews, check the option to “Enable OpenGL”.

Hi Mike,
In version 5, we now have new Mapping Techniques you can apply. To do this apply a material on your object. Then, go to the Material Docks panel and click the material. You will see different controls appear under the material docks. Open the Mapping drop down menu to select a different mapping technique.

Hi Rob,
Are you getting the crashes when opening up older projects created from Invigorator version 4.5.1? Or is it crashing when opening up projects containing Invigorator version 5.0.4?

Edward
