  • Hi Jonabert,

You can try duplicating the Invigorator layer and setting the transparency of your letters to 100%. This will make your letters transparent, but the shadows will show up. Next, go into After Effects and turn off all layers except for the duplicated layer. You can then render out this animation and you will get a movie file with just the shadows. Go back into After Effects and turn everything back on. Import the movie, and turn off the duplicated Invigorator layer. When applying Reflector you can can choose to vampire the shadow movie file, and this way it will not block the reflections like the shadow catcher was doing.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Sebastian,

To create this effect, set the “Pre-Roll” setting to “0.0”. This will let the flag start as a still image, and start animating like a curtain.

    Hi Dave,

Please e-mail me at ed@zaxwerks.com and attach a screen shot of what you are seeing. If possible, please also send the project file so I can take a look at the setup.

    Thanks.

    Hi Peter,

Be sure you do not have “Use Comp Lights” enabled. If you do, this uses the After Effects lights instead of the Invigorator lights. If you plan to use the After Effects lights, then you will have to position the lights in the same positions as the Invigorator lights, and enable the option “Casts Shadows” in the After Effects lights setting.

    Hi Alan,

We will release ProAnimator and Invigorator PRO 5 for the Mac soon. After that, we will release the rest of the plug-ins. We estimate that it will be released within the next few months.

    Hi Johnny,

It’s best to use the NAB Special price. The prices for NAB are the best prices we offer year round. While we sincerely apologize for the long wait for the Mac version, the NAB special price offers a significant discount for both upgrades and the full licensed software. Thanks for your understanding.

    Hi Jacob,

Sorry for the confusion. Unfortunately, the 64-bit conversion has taken us a lot longer than expected. We have had to overcome several obstacles. The good news is that we are a couple weeks away from the release. We are finishing up the last details, and will prepare for release after we are finished testing.

Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience.

    Hi Scott,

Invigorator PRO version 5.0.4 contains all the new features of version 5, but is not After Effects CS5 compatible on the Mac at the moment. It is compatible with After Effects CS5 on Windows, but we are a couple weeks away from the CS5 Mac version. The plug-in is currently compatible with After Effects CS3-CS4 on the Mac.

Sorry for any confusion. We have had to re-write all of our software so that it is 64-bit compatible with After Effects CS5. This is why the CS5 Windows plug-in was released first, while we are finishing up the Mac plug-in.

    Hi Joel,

ProAnimator/3D Invigorator version 4 is compatible with After Effects CS4. If you are using version 3 of the software, it is not supported within After Effects CS4. If you upgrade your software to the latest version, you should have no issues running the plug-in in After Effects CS4.

    Hi Scott,

ProModeler and ProAnimator are compatible with Snow Leopard, so you can run the programs as a standalone.

Both ProAnimator and 3D Invigorator PRO are nearing release for After Effects CS5. We are completing some finishing touches, and undergoing testing to be sure the product works well. We should be able to release both products within the coming weeks.

As Stephen mentioned, 3D Reflector and 3D Serpentine are currently compatible with After Effects CS5. The rest of the plug-ins will follow suit once ProAnimator and 3D Invigorator PRO are 64-bit compatible.

    Best,
    Edward
