    3d Flag from still to animation

    Hello!

    Is there any way to animate the transformation from a still image to the image with the 3dflag plugin applied?

    I have a building projection and i want to make it transform from solid to a curtain like movement.

    I tried matching the still and the 3dflag layer and then play with the opacity, but no luck. Masks also no luck.

    Hi Sebastian,

    To create this effect, set the “Pre-Roll” setting to “0.0”. This will let the flag start as a still image, and start animating like a curtain.

    Hello!

    Thanks for the reply!

    I did that, and for the return to a still frame i time-reversed the layer, and to add a little slow motion to the dropping of the flag because of the gravity, i played around with time-remapping.

    I would really enjoy a start/stop animation parameter with animation possibility for the zaxwerks 3dflag version…. It takes a lot off making these kind of effects then displacement mapping.
