    Hi Cliff,

No problem. If you really need both versions at the same time, you can re-name the current Zaxwerks Invigorator PRO folder to “Zaxwerks 3D Invigorator PRO 5”. Then, use the installer for version 6. Whenever you need to use one plug-in, put a ¬ (Option + L ) symbol in front of the plug-in name you are not using. By putting in the ¬ symbol, it disables the plug-in from loading and you will be able to keep both plug-ins available.

You will still have to do a little re-naming before switching versions, but it’s a pretty quick process once you get used to it.

    Hope this helps.

July 23, 2012 at 10:45 pm in reply to: Materials confusion

    Hi Roger,

If you want to keep editing a material to see the changes, the best thing to do is to drag and drop a material onto an object. This copies the swatch and applies it onto the object as Matt described. Then, go into the Materials Dock panel and double click the Material shown in the Dock. This will load the Material in the Material Dock into the Material Editor. Then, as you make changes in the Material Editor, you will see the object update with each update.

Hope this helps with what you’re doing.

    July 23, 2012 at 10:41 pm in reply to: 3D Invig Pro 6 Demo question . . .

    Hi Cliff,

If you install version 6, it replaces version 5. This is because if you have two of the same plug-ins, you will get an error message saying that you have two of the same plug-ins. So, if you want to try out the new version, the best thing is to keep both the installers for version 5 and version 6 and you will be able to switch between the two versions.

July 20, 2012 at 11:39 pm in reply to: Reference Scale in Invigorator Pro

    Hi Tom,

The units in ProAnimator relate to pixels. So, if a Cube is 600 x 600, the cube would be 600 x 600 pixels in width and height. If you are worried about zooming in on an object, you can always apply a map that is much bigger than the object. For example, if you map a 2400 x 2400 image on a 600 x 600 cube, you would be able to zoom in quite a bit and still have a sharp image.

Keep in mind that the bigger your objects (or the bigger they are on screen), the more pixels have to be rendered out. This will affect the rendering time for your project.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Roger,

Right, I have sent e-mails to you in the past with no issues, but now every e-mail is getting bounced back. The only e-mail that works is the 2nd alternate e-mail ending in “.net”.

    Hi Roger,

I’m having problems sending e-mails to your e-mail address. Is there an alternate e-mail I can send to? Two of my e-mails are bounced back according to your spam blocker.

July 17, 2012 at 10:27 pm in reply to: Comparison of Invigorator 3D Pro 6 and Element 3D?

    Hi Michael,

Both programs has its own usages, but what our program really specializes in is the speed to create and animate 3D Logos and Titles. In 3D Invigorator PRO, you can use our 3D Text or Shape tools to create unique looking 3D objects within several clicks. In addition, all our objects are fully customizable in the sense that materials, bevels, depth settings are very easy to set up and edit. All of the texts are fully editable and the shapes that are created in the drawing window can also be edited at any given time. This makes our program extremely versatile in the fast paced demands of clients.

In addition, materials are very easy to set up and you can create highly realistic effects such as glass refraction in combination with effects such as bump maps and reflectivity maps. The use of Object Deformation/Warping lets you create cool effects such as page flips and more.

The best way to see all the features I mentioned is to try it out using the demo version. To download the demo, please visit the link below:

July 17, 2012 at 10:19 pm in reply to: Duplicated objects taking the same colour

    Hi Roger,

Duplicated Objects are “Linked” with the same color. To remove the link, select the objects you want to unlink. Then, go into the Object Styles Swatches Panel. In the “Swatch…” menu towards the top right, select the option “Unlink Object Style”. You will then be able to apply different materials to the duplicated objects.

    Best,
    Edward
