Actually, that’s your problem. You need an OLDER version of Quicktime since you’re using Vegas 8. If you do a search for Quicktime, you’ll find all kinds of info related to this and links to the older version.

An easier way is to just use the Time Clock effect found in NewBlueFX Video Essentials IV. Just drop it on the clip, set a couple of parameters, and you’re done.

When you hold down the CTRL key and resize anything, you can only make it up to 4 times longer. You’re actually changing the playback rate and it will only go down to .25x. You were needing to go more that 4x longer and that’s why it did not work all the way to the end for you.

Sounds to me like you’re “slowing them down” instead of “moving them” and you’ve reached the limit of your slowdown.

Interesting. I just looked and can confirm what you’re seeing. Coming from the Pro side, I’m used to getting a full manual pdf download.

The full manual is a PDF file. People who want a printed copy just take that PDF file to staples/kinkos/etc… and print and bind it. It’s not available in already printed form.

Excalibur 6 will also work fine in Vegas Pro 10 as well as Vegas Pro 8.

Sounds like you need to right-click the “F” window and choose “Match Output Aspect”.
