If it’s off the screen, you can always use the Windows commands to move it back:

ALT – Space – Down Arrow – Enter —> will enter MOVE mode
Now use the Arrow keys to “Move” the window – start with the UP arrow.

It could be the player. It could be the disc. You say the player is supposedly compatible. Have you checked it against any of the web lists? Also, what brand of DVD did you use? Not all are created equally.

I’m lost. What does Pinnacle and Dazzle and USB have to do with Vegas capturing via firewire? You said above you were capturing via firewire.

Are you capturing firewire? Or are you trying to capture via USB using the Dazzle?

The internal capture (which is new) is for the new HDV capturing.

The external capture is for the standard DV capturing.

It used to be part of the “Plug-N-Pac” by Satish at http://www.debugmode.com but now I believe you would have to use WAX to get that effect from him. I’m not aware of another one unless you went to Boris Red or something of that nature.
