Hello, I stumbled upon these boards in hopes that someone might be able to help. I’m looking to get a camera/screen shake effect to go along with some parts of an audio track. I can accomplish it by doing keyframing and moving the frame a little but that is extremely time consuming considering I have to put a keyframe ever .1 seconds. Is there an easier way to accomplish this affect?

Theres a free little program called VegasQuake that works well but I can’t remember the site I got it at. Perhaps someone else can give you the site but I think it’ll do exactly what you want.
Also in Excalibur there is a utility called Stuttering Video thats works great.

You can probably do a google search on Vegasquake and get it pretty quickly. I used this script on a project last month to vibrate a logo along with a revving engine sound; went over really well. If you can’t find it shoot me a line and I’ll email it to you on Monday. Unfortunately I only have it on my work machine so won’t get to it until then.

If I remember correctly, the website that maintained that script no longer exists. You’ll probably have to e-mail it.

Well I finally found it and it works great. The site from the guy that made the script wasn’t working for me so I had to get it from some french site, but I found it. I’ll have to look again and see about setting up a mirror for it. Thanks everyone

You might also look at the collection found here:

You have to click on “Other” and then “Vegas Video”

It should also work for Vegas 6 but will have to be manually placed in the correct place.
