Camera Shake Affect with Vegas 5.0
Posted by Bjcar3 on July 15, 2005 at 8:52 pmHello, I stumbled upon these boards in hopes that someone might be able to help. I’m looking to get a camera/screen shake effect to go along with some parts of an audio track. I can accomplish it by doing keyframing and moving the frame a little but that is extremely time consuming considering I have to put a keyframe ever .1 seconds. Is there an easier way to accomplish this affect?

July 15, 2005 at 10:13 pmTheres a free little program called VegasQuake that works well but I can’t remember the site I got it at. Perhaps someone else can give you the site but I think it’ll do exactly what you want.
Also in Excalibur there is a utility called Stuttering Video thats works great.Don

July 16, 2005 at 2:43 amYou can probably do a google search on Vegasquake and get it pretty quickly. I used this script on a project last month to vibrate a logo along with a revving engine sound; went over really well. If you can’t find it shoot me a line and I’ll email it to you on Monday. Unfortunately I only have it on my work machine so won’t get to it until then.

July 16, 2005 at 3:42 amWell I finally found it and it works great. The site from the guy that made the script wasn’t working for me so I had to get it from some french site, but I found it. I’ll have to look again and see about setting up a mirror for it. Thanks everyone
