You can just change the track number:

CurrentEvent.Track = 0; //For track 1. However that will mess up your loop.

I usually just copy them to the new track so the original is left alone:

CurrentEvent.Copy(0, CurrentEvent.Start); //For Track 1

If you use the “Reverb” effect, you can keyframe the effect.

If you use the “ExpressFX Reverb” effect, you cannot.

To keyframe the effect, click on the FX button on the track, add that effect, and the click on the “Configure FX Automation…” on the far right top. Select the items you wish to keyframe and then you can control them with envelopes on the timeline.

Sounds like you’ve muted those tracks or solo’d some other track. Take a look at the mute and solo buttons on the tracks. In the menus there’s also a “Mute All” option you may have turned on. So make sure “Options – Mute All Audio” is not turned on.

This can absolutely be done in Vegas. Look above the preview screen for a button that’s a circle that’s half dark and half light. Click on that button.

Now the default of that button is “Bypass Effects” which means you will not see any effect. Click on the down arrow on the right edge of that button to see the other options. The ones I use most are right and left. That will let you see the effect on half the image and not on the other half. Makes it very easy to compare.

You can also take a snapshot of any other footage on the timeline and then use the “clipboard” option to compare to a totally different clip. Do a search for this in the help file. It really is a powerful feature of Vegas.

Yes, that would be very easy to do using Video Essentials VI from NewBlueFX. Video Essentials III could do this as well.

Of course, you could also use the Cookie Cutter effect built into Vegas.

The ProType titler is not NewBlue’s titler. The NewBlue titler is Titler Pro. My understanding was he was having issues with the ProType titler. What would uninstalling Titler Pro have to do with the ProType titler?

NewBlue Titler is very stable on my system. And most people who have reported issues to NewBlueFX we’ve found out why they were having issues and resolved the issue or we’ve determined that their video card is not compatible.

I see no reason why it would not work fine on Win8.
