Install and register DVDA and all will be fine. AC3 is included with DVDA – NOT Vegas. You also can’t use the info returned for another computer. Fully register on the laptop.

If needbe, at this point, just uninstall everything and start over. But do make sure you register DVDA which will automatically register both MPEG2 and AC3.

I don’t typically use image sequences. I know that replace media DOES work (I’ve used it) but had never tried with an image sequence. On a quick test, it does appear to only pull in the first image even if the sequence box is checked.

How about this:

1) Pull in the new sequence
2) COPY the old sequence
3) Paste Event Attributes on the new squence
4) Delete the old sequence
5) Move the new sequence into the proper location

What if you just delete the original one and then import the new sequence?

Another thing to try. Only start capturing a few seconds into the tape! In other words, don’t use the “Capture Tape” feature. Instead, rewind the tape, start playback, wait about 5 seconds, and then hit capture.

I use Windows Explorer, browse to those locations, and manually delete the files.

It’s not just you. It no longer seems to snap to the loop point.

And you have double-checked the capture location in vidcap’s option – preferences?
