Well… I would NOT call them competition anyway. I don’t have control over any of that either. Must have been a momentary issue with the Cow servers or something.

If you don’t want the changes you just made, you must use “UNDO”. In fact, you may have to undo multiple times if you made several changes in the window. There’s also a drop-down arrow beside the undo button which will let you undo several things at once.

Options – Preference – and check the box for “Double Click on media file loads into Trimmer instead of tracks”
Then double-click on them.

You should be able to go to the end of either clip. If there’s really an overlap there, it should all work fine.

There’s a thread here from not too long ago that deals with the changes necessary to get the names of the regions instead of the region numbers.

I guess you could delete the keyframe if you wanted to eliminate ALL changes at that time. Or right-click the keyframe and choose “restore” which will put it back to default settings.
Hard to say exactly without really knowing what you’re doing.

Right-click the photo in the Project Media you want to remove, choose “Replace”, and then pick the new file.
Or you could just delete the file, open the project, and it will ask you where the file is. Just select the new file at that point.

The easiest way is via a script. That’s why I wrote the “Select Events” tool in Excalibur. It can do all before, all after, and many other variations. There are a few free scripts available that select events in some ways.

If you SPLIT the background clip where you want the other one inserted AND you have “Auto Ripple” turned on, it should do so.

Yes, just render that separately.

If you want all 10 chapters to return back to the menu individually, you’ll need to add that media to the project 10 times and modify the out-point for each chapter point appropriatedly.
If you want each piece to return to the menu (especially if you don’t want a “Play All” option), it’s easier to just render each piece separately.
