Replace photo in a slideshow
Posted by Chuck Lao on February 6, 2008 at 11:53 amI am using Vegas pro 8.0b to create slideshow. I would like to replace a photo (in a slideshow) but keep everything (transitions, event fx, length) unchanged. What is the eaiest way to accomplish this? Thanks in advance for any help.

February 6, 2008 at 6:23 pmAdd your replacement as a ‘take’
From the help file:
Right-click and drag the media file from the Project Media or Explorer window to an event on the timeline. A shortcut menu is displayed when you release the mouse button. From the shortcut menu, choose Add as Takes.
The media file is added to the event as the active take, and the original media file remains in your project as a take.

February 6, 2008 at 6:28 pmThanks for the quick reply. Is there a way to completely replace the old photo? I don’t want to keep it in the project as I need to delete it from my PC.
