Adjusting audio should affect the size of the AVI file in no way. It sounds to me like you possibly started with a DV-AVI file and then rendered to an UNCOMPRESSED AVI file???

I just click the “Move to end” button (the triangle pointing right with a vertical line to the right in the play/stop area) and if it isn’t where I think it should be I know I have something on the timeline after the end.

That’s one of the things I like about my Sager as well – an actual numeric keypad even though it’s a laptop. I’m lost without the numeric keypad – especially for use with Vegas.

It could be a few things. Did you change the name of the MPEG2 file? Did you move it to a different folder? The maker info is actually stored in a separate file so if you do either of those it can be “lost” as far as automatically loading into DVD Architect.

If you use a script to save the snapshots, it will change to Best (Full) and set it to deinterlace for you so you don’t have to deinterlace later. Scripts can also save a series of snapshots as well.

Copy/Paste (CTRL-C/CTRL-V) should work. However, you could just set the standard text generator to scroll. On the positioning tab you just need a couple of keyframes – one with the text just off the screen on the bottom and the other with the text just off the screen on the top.

You have use a lower bitrate to make it a smaller file.
