Ok thanks. If I consolidate, do I just need to bring the files where I consolidate over to the new machine and copy the avid project file? Then do I just tell avid on the other machine to point to the location of the consolidated files? Sorry if these are common sense questions but last time I tried this it utterly failed 🙁

Thanks I had a question though. Does the project save a d copy of the imported footage somewhere? I can’t find it in my project folder or in the source folder where my original h.264 footage is at?

Ok I’m trying mpeg streamclip now and going to export other format
switching to dnxhd codec
quicktime movie
1920×1080 (unscaled)
unchecked interlaced scaling (did not check deinterlace video

The video looks much better except everything looks more flat than my proRes HQ transcode from compressor. Is this normal for DNxHD?

Should I check deinterlace video or interlaced scaling?

Got home, tried to access the card and my computer says the card is unreadable…. any ideas on what I can do? 🙁

One more question. If I wanted to export this in SD as opposed to HD, how would I go about doing this?
