The links in that document are for PPro 1.x, while I believe you are using PPro 2.0, right?

I don’t use the Quicktime format, but I know that Quicktime Pro has a lot more options than PPro for Quicktime encoding. You may want to look into using that instead.

You don’t have to render them on the timeline, you can go straight to the export option.

Unfortunately I don’t do HD capturing, so I cannot advise you there, but if you can capture successfully from within PPro then that is the way to go.

Are you possibly using Windows Blinds? I have seen people post problems with PPro and that product.
