  • How do I save a frame to a still pic?

Posted by Mark Dalzell on April 12, 2009 at 5:06 am

    Hi,

Sorry for the newbie question but I’ve looked all over Premiere Pro’s manual and have had no luck so I thought

    I’d try here.

All I want to do is save a frame of my video as a still picture. Thanks in advance and once again, sorry for the

    newbie?

    Best.

    Hi,

Move the current time indicator to the frame you want to save in the timeline. Click File – Export – Frame.
That should do the trick. You can change what format picture etc by clicking -settings- on the export window.

    hope this helps

Note that exporting a still image has changed from previous versions to CS4.

There is only one version of 2.0, in other words there are no updates like there have been for other versions.

    Cheers
