Not if you do what Vincent said. Use no codec (uncompressed) or use a lossless codec and you cannot lose quality.

Export to Quicktime format is currently broken in CS4. The 4.1 update (due the end of May) is supposed to fix this.

You can currently get around this by exporting to an intermediate format (uncompressed or losslessly compressed) and then use an extrenal encoder like Quiktime Pro to get what you want.

I suspect matrox is incorrectly expecting upper field first. Try switching the field order in AFX.

Actually, there is a magnification drop-down list box below both the program and source monitors. If it is set to “Fit” then you will always see the whole frame.

Export an EDL from CS4 and open that in CS3. That’s about the best you can do.
