Activity Forums Adobe Premiere Pro field order when rendering

I have imported a footage (computer graphics) rendered in AFX (QuickTime movie, Animation codec, lower field first) to Premiere CS3 running with Matrox RTX2 LE card.
When I place the footage in the timeline, appears a red bar as if it was not rendered. But the footage plays smooth and when reaches the end, the red bar becomes green.
But if I hit Enter to render the footage before playing it, when it plays, it runs jerky as it was rendered with the wrong field order. To fix this I have to trash the render in the Adobe Premiere Pro Preview Files.
I cannot figure out why this happens.

I suspect matrox is incorrectly expecting upper field first. Try switching the field order in AFX.

    Cheers
