I seemed to be having the same problem and fixed it by saving it in WMV form. Of course it might be that I changed something else as i also fixed it by saving it making sure the audio and video were both open or not greyed out. I am not sure. But saving it in wmv seems the best at least to me. I had not muted the audio either so that was not the problem. Have a nice day.

OK I am back. The first render was in mpeg2 format.
this time I figured I could do no worse so will render it in vegis designated “main concept avc/006.mp4”. When rendering the download indicator fluctuated between zero and where ever the total download was. When finished there seemed to be only the audio. 25 meg so I suppose it is all there but no video. Like another sufferer it had been working in the past ok This is just a highlighted area of the total project. -
The pixelation slider is blinking Horizontal or vertical I can change that so what do I do to execute whatever it wants done? I have no idea what the size means

OK thanks. I composed a reply and must have hit a wrong key and it disappeared. so if you see an incomplete message from me that is the reason. What I said was that the object is moving and the blurring stayed in one place. I thought I was blurring each second or frame but I don’t think that worked. I see there seems a way to upload video so I will render a part of it and see if I can display it for the experts to see what I am trying to do. Have a nice day and now for a cup of coffee then try to upload a short video of it

I started vegas 9 today and the video and audio showed in the time line. Thanks

I am almost sure I removed any views of everything. I will have to go back and recheck however, But I am pretty sure right now

OK Thanks everyone. I don’t know what happened. I’ve had Vegas 9 about 2 or 3 months just long enough to mess it up. The problems i worked myself into would be very hard to diagnoise, So I finally got the idea to just go and reset everything to default. That seemed to fix the problem. Another suggestion idea new owners could benefit from is to run through “Show Me How” again which for ordinary problems has a fix.
