“Right-click the track that contains the video you want to blur and choose Duplicate Track from the shortcut menu. This creates a copy of the video where we can apply the blurring effect.”

This is what help says to do start the blurring process but the shortcut menu is not found. Where is it” Any ideas?

To duplicate a track. you should right-click on an empty part of the track, not on an event.

OK thanks. I composed a reply and must have hit a wrong key and it disappeared. so if you see an incomplete message from me that is the reason. What I said was that the object is moving and the blurring stayed in one place. I thought I was blurring each second or frame but I don’t think that worked. I see there seems a way to upload video so I will render a part of it and see if I can display it for the experts to see what I am trying to do. Have a nice day and now for a cup of coffee then try to upload a short video of it

If you would like the blur fx to follow an object, you will need to use a motion tracker or keyframe the effect manually.
