The footage uses an MJPEG codec that comes free with Vegas Pro 8, or there are a number of free installs that you can find on the web. https://www.free-codecs.com/Motion_JPEG_Codec_download.htm has a freebie

If your preferences are pointing to your C: drive (by default, they do), then you could easily fill your internal drive by Xferring.

You can do this a couple of ways.
~Set the video as the First Play video, it’ll loop.
~Use an End Action to tell the video to play itself when it reaches the end.
~A script can also do this, but it’s the most difficult, and gets you nothing more than the previous options.Douglas Spotted Eagle

Essentially, you do nothing.
DVDA isn’t a Blu-ray authoring tool. DVDA doesn’t support any BD burner as a BD burn. -
Where are you viewing the video? On your computer monitor, television, LCD/Plasma display?

Not necessarily.
Coupled with the buffer to playback whatever else might be on the timeline, it may well be that you’re eating the available RAM. Particularly if you’re using 3D TM.
Nested veg files perform differently on various machines. YMMV. Of course, your project will render correctly, but that doesn’t help much w/Preview. SHIFT+B will render to RAMDouglas Spotted Eagle

You want RMS normalization if you don’t want to do this by hand (I sure would, if the content means anything to you).
Sound Forge offers RMS normalizing. If the sources are varied music and voice, good luck with trying to do this automatically. 🙂 I feel the pain you’re about to have.Douglas Spotted Eagle
