I have been pulling in some video from a DVD camera disks that I am working on. I rendered the video on my external scratch drive. BUT my internal hard drive is almost full all of a sudden. Does the video I pulled from the disk store as a temp file somewhere or something.

If your preferences are pointing to your C: drive (by default, they do), then you could easily fill your internal drive by Xferring.
