sounds like something on your system is corrupting the download from Apple. Are you running antivirus?
Try downloading again, be sure you’re getting it stored/tranferred completely before installing?

By “screen render” are you talking about RAM render? Or just Previewing with motion?

A render to MPEG 2, regardless of the number of tracks, isn’t “outside the boundaries” of Vegas. It might be that you’ve got some resource issues, such as USB drives, heat, CPU overload, anti-virus, etc that could be preventing a finished file.

It needs to recompress because you are changing the contents of the “menu” which is really a video file.
For highest quality, render your “menu” as an uncompressed file, then create the actual menu with links in DVD A

    Pan/crop the first one.
    Copy it.
Select the others/Select Events to End
Right Click first in remaining clips
    Choose “Paste Event Attributes.”

September 14, 2007 at 4:37 pm in reply to: 24p video to tape?

Vegas will correctly export the 24p media with pulldown to your DV deck, with flags that can be later identified. The deck doesn’t need 24p capability.

Decklink is not Intensity. Intensity has never had drivers for Vegas. Intensity is an HDMI card, Decklink is an SDI card. Very different animals in implementation, but not terribly dissimilar in what they do.
