24p video to tape?
I’m working (for the first time) with 24p video in Vegas.
Now that I’ve done a great deal of work I want to back up to tape to avoid any unpleasant hard drive problems- or transfer to another workstation.
My question– will the standard mini-DV camcorder I generally use as my deck (I think it’s a Sony VR-70 or something basic)be able to maintain the 24p framerate from Vegas? It does NOT have a 24p recording mode.
Is there a special way to export to tape in this case?

Vegas will correctly export the 24p media with pulldown to your DV deck, with flags that can be later identified. The deck doesn’t need 24p capability.

Will it do the same for 24p HDV projects?
