Sir John or Steve,
I have 5 Video tracks in Cam1 composite Chroma Key. I currently have a Cam1 parent and 4 children tracks hooked together. Is there a way that I can (now that I have that all set)cut to the Cam 2 Parent track – back and fourth without having to adjust each child track individually. Like doing multicam back and fourth between my to parent tracks?

The only thing free I am using that I know of is an install from a link the Cineform sent me so that I could convert AVCHD files and have audio on the conversion. This is what I loaded prior to problem but did not have isses untill today.
From Cineform:
If you are converting AVCHD files and there is no sound on the resulting CineForm files, you should install the AC3Filter from https://www.AC3Filter.net.

Stephen – Thank You for the reply – If I may ask one more ? concerning the drive set up – are we calling the media drive and the project drive the same thing? Meaning can all the media in a project be on the same drive and all run well? Should I keep digital Juice ect… on a separate drive?

SO have I understood correctly that it is not necessary to have the media on a raid set for performance purposes? and a separate Render drive?

Is it possible that SVP is miss interpreting the files.

If I check the MP4 files direct out of EX1 with the Sony Project Properties checker it comes up with Custom 1920×1080 – Progressive scan – 1.0000 (Square) – 29.97 ntsc

If I check the same file after HDLink, that is set to convert to 1920×1080 Progressive AVI with the Sony Project Properties checker it comes up with HD 1080-60I (1920×1080, 29.97)- Upper field first- 1.0000 (Square) – 29.97 ntsc

So I tried my Adobe encoder with the Cineform codec and same settings as HDLINK Progressive. I converted the file then brought it into Vegas checked it with properties checker and got same as HDlink it comes up with HD 1080-60I (1920×1080, 29.97)- Upper field first- 1.0000 (Square) – 29.97 ntsc

SO should I override it and make it progressive instead of upper field? and likewise the render out template?

Sir John,
a little confused on the Cineform template: Why would I choose (upper field) if it is Progressive? When I use the sony project setting _ auto clip identifier thing _ for choosing project setting. it comes up HDV 1080 60I upper field square pixel – but it was shot in mp4.30P and then rendered in by Cineform HDlink and I choose progressive?
Is Upper field correct?
If so, then I should choose the Upper field in my Cineform Render template though I use Progressive?
And should the interleave still be .25 instead of every frame?

John saw this post – I have not been able to render Cineform AVIs with my Quadro 4000 GPU turned on – I tried the 320 update and it still crashed – does cineform avi even use the GPU? Should I just leave it off for renders? Although It seems to estimate a longer time to render without it 7 hours vs almost 5 hours.
