Hay, just read your post I have some 8mm video. I would like to capture it to a hard drive or a CD. I have a number of People asking me to do the same for them. I would want to edit it. I have Vegas Pro 8. Therefore I have a question or two
1: What type or kind of equipment would I need to buy? I don’t have an 8mm projector.
2: How much would this piece of equipment cost? Where can I look at it on line?
3: If it is beyond my means, what is the cost of having someone do it for me?

This I would like to know too. How long should the pictures be? How long should the transitions be. ( 1/2 sec. or 1 sec. etc; what ever) Thanks.

Steve thanks for the reply, this I can do, I am doing this now. I just thought that if I could work it into a Vegas window, (like the transitions) it would be nice. Thanks again for the good work you fellows do.

Mike I am sorry I am using Pro 8. I do not get any results from this action. I also tried going to other Media Generator tabs and coming back still no results. Should I consider reloading Pro 8?
