I have a problem I used to be able to do this “save a text preset to Video media Generator.” Am I doing something wrong? I pull the text down work on it, have it the way I want it. So I decide to save it. I go to the preset window and type in a name, go to the right and hit “save preset” button, then the problem it does not save.
I can save transitions that I have recreated. What am I doing wrong or what do I need to fixed it? I have thought about a reload but I don’t want to do that.
Thanks a lot for your help. What would we do without you guys, thanks?

I just tried this in Pro 8 and it showed up instantly.
In Pro 10 though, I had to exit the text generator, switch to a different choice in the Media Generator tab and then switch back to Text before I could see it 🙁

Mike I am sorry I am using Pro 8. I do not get any results from this action. I also tried going to other Media Generator tabs and coming back still no results. Should I consider reloading Pro 8?
    Thanks

Don, that would probably solve your problem.
Just understand that you’ll lose any custom render and FX presets you’ve created.

Don, before you do that, there’s a way to reset the Vegas prefs. I can’t remember the procedure but I’m sure a forum search will turn it up.
    Good luck

Found it. Hold control + shift while opening Vegas.
