Hey, at the moment i have nearly finished a video i am making. In the final process of polishing it up, a lot of videos seem to have tints on them (im not really sure how you call it) such as this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoFa4RJYOg4&feature=plcp .

As you can see he has a lot of tints in bits of his videos which make it look really nice, anyone know how you can do that on Vegas 11? Also what aspect is he using?

Also if you have a bunch of clips do you think its looks nicer with clips fading in and out or just nothing or another effect if so say which please

    Thanks

This I would like to know too. How long should the pictures be? How long should the transitions be. ( 1/2 sec. or 1 sec. etc; what ever) Thanks.

Play around with FX such as Color Corrector and Color Curves.
If you get something you like, save it as a preset for future use.
Remember that you can ad multiple FX to the same event to get a very special look that one FX alone can’t give you.

“Also what aspect is he using?”

It looks like 16:9 source footage dropped onto a 4:3 timeline so that you get the letterboxed look.

That’s all matter of personal preference as well as the program itself.
Sometimes cuts are called for and sometimes dissolves.
