I know pro 8 is an old program. It does what I want it to do. Therefore I have not seen a reason to upgrade. I do very little video work, mostly I do slideshow. Therefore I have had no need to upgrade.
I thank each and every one of you for your suggest. I will use them. Hope all works out well if not you will hear from me.
Thank again for your help. I have no idea what an old man would do without this board.

Thanks everyone it looks like I am going to look into getting a Sony A7S. I have check around and this seems to be the best answer for me.
Again thanks for the help with this problem. It is downright nice to have a place like this that we can come to get answers.

Graham I have it worked out. It had me for a while there. Kept working with it at last found what you had told me in the 1st section. I do thank you very much for your time and effort to keep me on track. Thanks again. By the way the problem was just what you stated. Thanks again.

John I am using Dell windows 7 home premium computer. It’s about a year old. I have split C into two drives.
C drive has 925 GB on it. On C drive I have used 93.3 GB. I have free 832 GB.
On K drive I have 925 GB I have used 194 GB. I have 741 GB free. I am not press for space as you can see.
I use C drive for my programs. K drive I use to do my work on, such as Vegas Pro 8.
I know my equipment is old and outdated, but it does what I want it to do, so I figured why upgrade. Are you telling me that I should upgrade? If so that’s OK I have just not seen the need. Until now, I have thought about it at times. If I decided to do so where would be the best place to get my upgrade from?
For the most part I do slideshows; on occasion I will do a video.
