Need to take out wind.
Posted by Donald Gibson on November 12, 2012 at 4:48 pmI shoot my granddaughter wedding on the beach. I used a mike phone for the preacher. The sound is fine except that Mother Nature step in and there is a lot of wind in the background.
Is there a way to separate the two? I am using Vegas Pro 8. I know it may well be too late, if so, so be it. If not please help me. I need to cut the wind and not the preacher.
Thanks

November 12, 2012 at 7:14 pmThat can be done donald, but not with Vegas alone, third part
plugins would have to be called in for that, like Sony Noise
Reducion or Izotope. What i use regular on issues like that is
Izotope RX with near perfect results.Steve Rhoden

November 13, 2012 at 3:00 amI’ll stick my beak in here… have a look at the free program Audacity… it isn’t as good as Izotope and the like, but it might achieve something, and it is free.
Windows 7 Pro64, 16GB RAM, SSD boot drive, GTX 570 Graphics, Vegas Pro 11 and VP10 just in case
