Many thanks to both of you. I will look at the web sight.
Why does my name show up in red and not blue like other posters?

    Don

Music theft. I have a question or two about this subject. Know this has been discussed but I need a straight out answer . I have put together a slideshow of a trip that my family and a friend took together.

I have not added music to the show as of yet. I am told by friends and family that it ok to use the music of a CD that I have bought to add to my show. I need to know if this a true statement. It does not sound right to me. This show will be used only by my friend and I . We are not using this DVD, commercially (sp) in any way.

Also I have been asked to do a wedding. They have their own music they want to use. It is on a CD they have bought. Would it be alright to use this CD for their wedding?

The main thing I am not afraid of getting caught, doing this, but its just not right if it not legal. I do have to live with myself.

    Thanks
    Don

Drew, sounds as if your pictures are to large. Try resizing to 720×480 for the basic stuff. If you are going to zome in close, try resizing to 1440×960, watch this size you may get some flicker in it.

    Good luck

OK, this drop is working better than anything I have tried so far. With a little work here and there, it just might work. Anyway it gives me something to work with.

Greg and Mike Many, many Thanks

“I’m a big fan of Irfanview but is all you want to do Event Pan/Crop to fit the screen? Or are you actually having problems with size? If the later, simply click the Event Pan/Crop insignia and select the 16:9 Preset in the drop-down.”

Thanks Greg, I am have problems with the size. They are 3008×2000 and I need to get them to about 1440×960. I want pan and zoom in and out with them. I will try the drop down and see what happens

    Thanks Again

I am also looking into getting my hands on Vegas Pro 8 Editing Workshop by Douglas Spotted Eagle – would anyone recommend this?

I have the book you are talking about. I will say this, It is a good book. I would be lost without it. It will take a bit of study, on your part. If you stay with it you and Spotted Egale can work it all out. I say go for it.

Thanks Allen. I did mean to put you on the spot. I am just now, only a little bit getting to know Vegas 8. I will look at UltimateS. But for the time being I have enough to learn. To old take all this at one time.

    Thanks, again
