I had this same problem. I had a 24p project and when the audio mix arrived it wouldn’t hold sync. The audio mixer swore it was mixed at 24 and even double checked against his reference QT. The only way to make it sync was to change the audio track speed in FCP to 99.9%. I thought the Audio house had screwed up, but maybe there’s a bug in FCP.

I guess Excel is a work around, with emphasis on the work. It’s too bad a proper pull list can’t be an option from within FCP.

I’m trying to finish a Red ingested job by recreating all the shots at a better quality and re-linking them in FCP for the online (don’t like the simple ingest options and prefer the control in Redcine to process the r3ds the way I like them). I could just transcode all the rushes and relink, but I will save a lot of time if I can just creat a simple pull list. I would think this is equally valuable for tape based workflows as well.

I have KRK in one suite and Blue Sky EXO in the other and Blue Sky has better fidelity to my ears. Blue Sky also has a cleaner look with less cables.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I finally got it to work with Cinema Tools by deselecting Standard Upper/Lower, which seems weird.

I’m having the same problem in Final Cut Pro. I have the Kona LHe. Sync does get worse over time. Quitting FCP and eventually restarting solves the problem for a while. I have trashed prefs a few times only to have the problem return. I have 16GB of memory. My sequences are usually 1080p 23.98 ProRes HQ. Sometimes it seems the entire system is running out of sync including anything I watch online with Safari.

Turned out the problem was with the Crimson generated XML. I just exported the sequence as an EDL and reimported it and voila the 3-way color corrector stopped crashing FCP.
