Hi,
It is always good to have a fast and big capacity internal SSD, this one has a speed of 8000MB and T7/T9 is 1000 and 2000MB, significantly lower but good enough. I have a Crucial X6 with 800MB speed, which works like a charm. External should be pretty enough, especially on the price-performance point.

Hi, I don’t think you can do that on Premiere Pro. If I remember correctly, someone proficient in Avid may say that Avid can do this. Don’t they accept a low res video file.

It looks like a good machine. Each spec is maxed as I can see. I would choose it myself.

If you were on Mac I would say Prores but on Windows, I am not very sure, it could be ProRes 4444, DNxHD 444, or DNxHD HQX. Cineform maybe.

Did you try converting the footage before importing it into Premiere Pro? Maybe to a better codec.

When it comes to buying a new Mac it is always to buy the fastest so you can use it for at least 10 years. Well of course that is not always true. You have several options, one could be trying Open Core Legacy Patcher to use new Mac OS versions, which is pretty solid. So you can continue using your current iMac. The second option could be buying a 2022 iMac with 27 inch screen, as max as your budget can. And you will use this machine for at least 6-7 years without problems. 3rd option could be, personally, I don’t recommend Mac Mini, the lowest version of Mac Studio would be better than that one. And you are going to need a screen. And maybe you can try a new iMac again as max as your budget can, with a second display.

Unfortunately the easiset way to this is not free. You can try Producer’s Best Friend from Intelliegent Assistance, it is on Mac App Store for 99,99 USD.

It’s a hard one. Frankly, explaining it here is harder than doing it. You can try the Essential Sound panel and de-hum, reduce rumble, and reduce noise. You can also try noise reduction effects from Audio Effects and play with harmonics. You can also reduce or increase some parts of the audio manually. You can check some video tutorials on the web to get started. Maybe give it a go for Adobe Podcast AI.
