I too would love to hear some responses to this post, as I have a bunch of footage shot by an amatuer who left the gain on in sunny outdoor conditions.

I need to use the footage, so any points on how to reduce the noise would be appreciated!

I don’t know why I was Recompressing.. Its still not perfect, but better.. I think it could be all the different types of footage I’m combining. I think I’ll tinker some more and live with whatever the I come up with is,

Yes I am using a Mackie Mixing board and Adobe Audition V 2.0
