Well the COmpressor that I loved so well has changed. I do not know how to get it to take an export now. It keeps saying not all targets are justified. I don’t understand the quick and dirty way to use compressor.

I’ve done that and it seems to have a conflict with the camera. Question. Footage shot 1080i60 can that be brought into a DV NTSC timeline?

I have the latest of fcp 6. I keep getting some kind of error message that says hdv devices can’t all be set to the same?

Ok, I did that on the camera settings. Now What settings do you use in FCP 6? I have the log and catpture window come up… but it says no communication.

no i did not check the firewire port in the camera. Is that turned on when I select HDV?

Will the Sony mu15 deck play canon tapes? I’ve searched all over between the JVC and the sony. I need a deck that will play the 1080i canons as well as some tapes shot on XL2.

Jerry how are the classes going up there in Denver? Don’t you teach up there? Anyway, I’m reading some RSS on the net about the JVC and some people are saying they WON’T play canon tapes. BTW, we also have a huge library shot on the XL2 that I need to be able to capture back without having to use the cameras. Which deck works?
