It does show that it is a 32-bit reader, and Mac compatible.

However, no info on whether it will work with a G5.

Between the Apple white paper, the HVX200 manual, and two glasses of wine, I got it to work.

Gotta go to print to video, and interestingly, to stop recording you need the remote control

But as of yet, Jan, there isn’t a way to get a FCP sequence out to a p2 card for playback using 5.0.4?

Or can I print to a p2 card through a firewire connection with the cam?

You need a SDI output, and that requires a card, plus the HDLink as I read it.

This is yet is not implemented in 5.0.4 on the fly, and you still need to use the frame rate converter.

It’s may be implemented in FCP 5.1.

I wish it also would convert the file with audio.

Oh well.
