If you have the paid version you get noise reduction, it’s not included in the free version and never was.

Very interesting Ann, as the definitions seem to be describing the exact opposite of what my experience has been with CBR and VBR.
I have vastly less experience encoding with AME than I do with other encoders, and maybe Adobe has figured out better algorithms, but in the past, VBR had the issue with the frame rate fluctuating from frame to frame, not CBR.

I forgot to mention it to Kent – I have that app, and it’s a terrific addition to a good keyboard. And, well worth the $29 price tag.

I too had a Bella, but I found J-K-L keyboard commands were much easier to operate and were more accurate than Bella’s implementation of the shuttle knob ever was.
BTW, I had the same issues you described with every Bella keyboard I ever used. The one from Logic is much better, is dedicated for OSX and Macs, and does not require drivers.

As a workaround, create a new sequence of clips with your effects attached, and just copy and paste the custom effects to clips in other sequences when you need them.
