Save Preset
Posted by Eric Merklein on August 13, 2015 at 6:24 pmGreetings again. I’ve watched tutorials and surfed the web and it’s crazy, but I cannot see a way to save a custom transition of any kind, even when I alter an existing PP Pro transition.
The preset selection in the effects control pull down is not active.
Eric
Many thanks.

August 13, 2015 at 7:00 pmHello Ann. Does this mean that I have to re-build the same costume transition every time?
Is there any way to contact the PP 2015 developers? I use a lot of customized transitions
Many thanks.

August 13, 2015 at 7:35 pmAs a workaround, create a new sequence of clips with your effects attached, and just copy and paste the custom effects to clips in other sequences when you need them.

February 3, 2016 at 7:08 pmDoes anyone know why they would have removed transition presets from 2015? And if they have any plan to bring them back? This seems like a pretty basic function for a non-linear editor.

February 3, 2016 at 7:20 pmThe people who make these kinds of changes don’t edit anything – ever.
I’d love to have a sit down with these folks.
Eric
Many thanks.
