I am exporting an .mp4 file (H.264 Multi-pass). On each attempted export, a different gap is missing: about 2 minutes with no audio/video, just black.</p>
<p>I am stumped.</p>
<p>The .mov export is fine. I also tried exporting the .mp4 from the .mov instead of the project &#8211; same result.</p>

The options are smooth or linear.  Linear is supposed to go from the start value to the end value directly, with no ramp on either end &#8211; just a straight line.  But instead, it only lessens the same ramp used by the &#8220;smooth&#8221; setting.</p>

<p>For the purposes of opening and editing one project that is on a backup drive, is there any harm in renaming the drive the same name as the original drive?  You just have to remember to switch it back later.  Would that be enough to fool&hellip;</p>

<p>The actual video footage was on the main backup drive.</p>

<p>I literally drag and drop the entire project &#8211; library and all assets to the backup drive.</p>
<p>It is the exact same size as the original folder.</p>
