black flashes
In many years this is a first. Media in timeline is flashing on and off – alternating good frames with black ones. About half and half, no pattern, very often one frame on, one frame off. So, of the 29 frames in one second, maybe 15 normal and 14 black. Canon C-300, AVCHD from the SD card converted to ProRes 422 using EditReady. Exact same workflow I have used 1,000 times – nothing different. Any ideas?

How do those media files look at each stage of the offload, conversion and import sequence?
If you play the original camera media file in Quicktime Player or VLC, what does it look like?
What about those same files played in Quicktime or VLC after conversion by EditReady but before import to FCP?
