I’m with Peter on this, I’d use a nice Lav with the Lectrosonics.
In setups where there is a little more background noise,
just move the Lav closer the the mouth and adjust the audio accordingly.
I wouldn’t worry about the sight of a lapel mic, it’s not a movie. -

I would strongly suggest that she “Read the manual”To get an AIFF file out of Pro Tools she would go to menu
File / Bounce to Disk / then select AIFF as the file type / and hit the Bounce button. -

Yes but that post does not tell us if it is the boot drive you are recording to, which you should not be…
Or a second internal 7200 rpm hard drive used just for capturing and playback of media.
Nor do you tell us how full the drive is. -
No, the FW output from the camera is DV25.

I’m sure that there are many ways to “Rig” up a solution.
But my suggestion is to spend the $169.00 on a Beachtek adapter.
If it’s worth doing, It’s worth doing right!
