The DVX is a bit too bulky?
I’m guessing you’ve never had to go hand held with an Arri 35BL -
Aside from a dolly move instead of a zoom, a cut from wide to tight,
or mega pixel still shot zoomed in computer,
you might switch your camera to aperture priority mode. -
Something else that professionals do on a regulas basis
that is rarely done with consumer video cameras and VTRs, is head cleaning. -

It would be good to know what tools you have at your disposal.
This should be simple enough to create in apps like FCP or After Effects.
