I have already pre-composed the layer – I just need a way to find spots or areas to track, which is proving very difficult.
Another thing I am finding very frustrating is that once I track something and apply the tracking info to a null, it seems to shift the entire pre-composed layer. Not sure why. -

The only issue is that I am not getting paid for the work I am doing that requires this codec. And although the codecs are not the expensive, I might never use them again in future. I am trying to figure out a way to work with this footage that will accommodate that.

Strange because I have Vegas and it doesn’t open up in it. I get an audio stream in Vegas, but no video.

Ok, I figured it out. I had to pre-compose the layer with Posterize on it and then work with the other comp for the mask and other effects to work right.

After talking to Dan over email, I decided to use Posterize Time, which seems to work quite well (thanks Dan!), but I am finding strange happenings in After effects with Posterize time – first, but masks are no longer working. And after using the Colourama and Scribble Effect, my clips are becoming multi-coloured when I drop the Posterize Effect on them.
Anyone know what is going on? -
No, I am using 6.5 right now, with a trial of Cs3.

I tried the

n*timeand it just made the video appear to go faster. IS there something I am missing? Do I have to export to see the results?
