    Is there a way in AE to create a jittery effect whereas it renders out a frame every 2-3 seconds (depending on what the users wants). It would almost like having a bunch of still frame put together in a sequence, but will lots of still frames. I tried to do it in Vegas, but can’t seem to find a way. Can this be done in AE?

    Search the COW for “posterize time”. It should lead to a few “stop-motion” threads.

    here’s a post froma few weeks ago with a couple of ways for creating stop action like movement for video footage. i think the poster was trying to end up with still to take into photoshop, then resequence in ae… but some of these techniques would probably help you.

    I tried the
    n=3
    n*time

    and it just made the video appear to go faster. IS there something I am missing? Do I have to export to see the results?
